Sibillini Mounts National Park Nature and tradition that is the combination that leads us to visit places in this park. From any town you start: Ussita, Visso, Pievebovigliana, Sarnano, Motefortino Amandola , while you climb the vegetation tents, as if by magic, a change until about 1000 m predominates in fact the forest of oak, hornbeam black, and the beech wood. Also important is the presence of Ephedra nebrodensis in Valnerina and Carex disticha that in the Pian Grande, was one of only two stations in Italy. The fauna is very interesting. In particular, among the mammals remember the wolf, wild cat, the porcupine, which are prevalent in large numbers over the past decade and deer. From some years have returned to live in the deer park and the Apennine chamois. Among the birds have to remember the golden eagle, that since the park began to nest in areas abandoned for years, the goshawk and sparrowhawk, typical inhabitants of the forest and the pilgrim falcon.
