RISTORO AGRITURISMO BELLAVISTA
 
Among the green hills at the foot of Monte Catria the Lucciarini family has restored the old family farm, transforming it into a comfortable and lovely place to stay.
The agriturismo is located in the village of Montevecchio (Old Mountain) in the comune of Serra Sant’ Abbondio, close to the age-old monastery of Fonte Avellana, where Dante Alighieri stayed when, in The Divine Comedy, he wrote about the area in Canto XI of Paradiso.
The agriturismo is well situated; 155 miles from Rome, 149 miles from Florence, 222 miles from Venice and 30 km from the sea and the charming cities with blue flag beaches of Fano, Pesaro and Senigallia, and 75 km from the airport of Ancona. It is within easy reach of the ‘ideal renaissance city’ of Urbino, the medieval city of Gubbio, the caves of Frasassi and the gilded bronze horses of Pergola museum.
The agriturismo is located at the edge of the renowned Verdicchio wine area and is a good location for art-lovers folllowing the Piera Della Francesca trail and for mountain-walkers, bikers or skiers seeking adventure in the central Appenines. It is possible to walk in the mountains, take guided excursions on Monte Catria or explore the area by mountain bike (available for hire). Or you might just want to relax and take in the wonderful views. In summer you can enjoy the swimming pool and Jacuzzi.
The easily-accessible accommodation is set in nine acres of farmland and comprises one apartment in an old stone house, and four en-suite rooms with separate entrances in a brand-new building. The agriturismo also offers a locally-renowned restaurant where you will be served dishes typical of the region cooked using home grown produce from our own farm or neighboring farms.
The dishes include home-made pasta with a selection of sauces made at your request, grilled beef and lamb and home-made sausages with herbs, as well as roast beef cooked in a wood oven.
During the months of October and November, the area is famous for the fragrant white truffle, which Mira uses to make traditional recipes.
The rooms all have splendid views of the surrounding mountains and the hills of the Marche with its many castles, including nearby Castello with its wonderful panoramic views.
The Accommodation
The accommodation has one apartment and four separate rooms in a house overlooking the beautiful mountains.
The apartment Siegfried and Rina is in a small stone house (2 bedrooms with four beds, living room, kitchen and bathroom) and is available on a weekly basis.
 

Price: €750 per week (includes sheets, towels, electricity, water and gas. In winter there is a surcharge of €50 per week for heating).

Each of the four separate Agritourismo rooms are available on a daily basis. Each room is 35 square metres and facilities include a double bed, double sofa bed, bathroom with shower, internet access and a veranda of 50 square metres.

Room Aurelia sleeps 4, a double bed and a double sofa bed (includes sheets, towels, electricity, water and gas. In winter there is a surcharge of €10 per night for heating).

Room Rosa sleeps sleeps 4, a double bed and a double sofa bed (includes sheets, towels, electricity, water and gas. In winter there is a surcharge of €10 per night for heating).

Room Katka sleeps 4 , a double bed and a double sofa bed (includes sheets, towels, electricity, water and gas. In winter there is a surcharge of €10 per night for heating).

ROOM Djulse sleeps 4 , a double bed and a double sofa bed (includes sheets, towels, electricity, water and gas. In winter there is a surcharge of €10 per night for heating).

The room rate is €30 per person for each night and includes breakfast.

Children are very welcome though we regret that we are not able to accommodate pets.
